Early closer but at least it is open every day from 1pm, except for Sundays when closed. Beers exceptional. I became rather fond of the bitter after my week in the area and sold in most places. IPA also very good.

Outdoor space and a mezzanine floor. Very popular on our two visits.

Modern building for Llyn Brewery in the industrial estate, just a short walk from the immediate town centre. Plate glass front which allows for much light and a relatively high-spec interior – they actually want you to come and enjoy yourself rather than suffer for the brewer’s art. The wood burner blazing away was most welcome on an awful day. There’s also some local history info on the walls to peruse. You can also peer through a window into the brewery itself, if you are that way inclined. Three of theirs on and served well, as you’d expect (NBSS 3, 3.5, 4). Well-utilised by the locals; a shame that the opening hours are limited. GBG listed and rightly so.
