Much as before, opening hours are perhaps more limited and drinking seems to be entirely limited to diners waiting for a table. The restaurant doesn’t take bookings so the wait can be lengthy. Two pulls serving lacklustre Isle of Skye beer, Black is allegedly a regular and Red or Gold make appearances, it also sells their full bottled range. The poor beer is probably explained by the restaurant and tourist content, it probably doesn’t have enough of a cask turnover for decent beer.  Wine, pop or lager appear the default drinks.

The front area is no longer that bar like, it is mostly used for dining and waiting to dine, it’s still ok just to have a drink if it’s not too busy. It’s still very busy from opening at 5pm. Down to two pulls usually with Isle of Skye beers, they also have a selection of their bottles.

Although called a restaurant the front section is used as a bar as well as a place to wait for your table. The three pulls with Isle of Skye beers are in the rear restaurant section. There are a few normal and tall tables and a large screen used for occasional big sports events. The beer is well kept and the food, mostly seafood, is excellent. Much better than the dreary hotel bars nearby.
