This converted warehouse started as a fruit merchants, brew house and now a Taphouse. The layout is one large space and a separate games room, with darts and shuffleboards. Surprisingly only two cask ales now, compared to 6 cask on Old Boots visit back in 2019.
There was 8 fonts on the front bar and a choice of 29 keg.
The two cask ales were Kirkstall and Anarchy Citra Star, priced at £4.50 a pint. Craft was around the £7 mark. The food served was Pan Asian.

The Taphouse is the brewery tap for Bone Machine. It is situated on a pedestrianised street in the docks and has an industrial feel to it.

The bouncer on the door was friendly and invited us to a table that was reserved for later, but we could have it for the period we needed it. Table service was in operation here. Whilst we couldn't see the large Brewdog-style beer lists behind the bar, we could see beer lists on a TV screen linked to the Untappd app, which frustratingly kept switching pages before you could read them all.

Cask ales were Bad Seed Side Hustle and Black Isle Porter. Ciders were Lilley's Strawberry Cider, Apple & Blackberry Cider, Crazy Goat, Mango Cider & Rhubarb Cider & Weston's Old Rosie. The craft beer selection is more extensive and included Bone Machine Blood Money, Nordic Barbarian Juice, The Men Behind The Glass & Garden of Death, Thornbridge AM:PM, Pressure Drop Pale Ale, Cloudwater A Choppy Final & Caps Off The Hero In Pine Barrens.

I agree with the previous review that table service really does seem fairly pointless as we move into 2022. Although in defence of the staff, they were quite swift in delivering drinks to us. Not really my kind of pub, but I may still give it another chance when next in Hull.

I had been looking forward to calling in here on our recent trip to Hull and really wanted to like it. Unfortunately I simply couldn't due to the stupidity of continuing to insist on table service despite not having enough staff. The only pub in Hull that we visited that wouldn't let you go to the bar. Only Bone Machine seem to brew here now and there's only 3 handpumps. One was off and neither of the others had a Bone Machine beer on them. Three girls wandering around taking orders and just one guy behind the bar pouring drinks. How on earth did you expect that to work? Needless to say it took ages to get the beer and it had been sat on the bar for a good 5 minutes before someone decided that they'd better deliver it. Pathetic.

Anyway the bar is of course rather trendy, with some booths to the right as you enter and a massive array of keg taps on the rear wall of the bar to the left. The beer, when it eventually arrived as in decent nick. Big Smoke Solaris was my beer of choice a brewery I like.

If you could go to the bar and stand around and the service was better it would have dragged it up to a good 6 or 7. Sadly you couldn't.

Won't visit here again until they stop the table service.
