Much of the pier surface area is taken up by this truly awful entertainment venue which I should struggle to think of as a pub. When we eventually discovered the entrance we found ourselves on a large dance floor with a bar at one end, the bar dispensing overpriced fizzy lager. The surface of the lager was characterised by concentric wave forms created by the incredibly loud, and incredibly tuneless, music being belted out by an incredibly amateur music act. If rubbish beer in uncomfortable surroundings where you can’t hold a conversation is your thing, then this is the place for you
