It bills itself as a Boutique Bar, not sure what that signifies. Roughly a square room with a mix of decor, some of it extremely girly, with unicorns, jewellery displayed in glass topped tables, fashion house art, twinkly lights in the mesh curtained windows and many references to Gin and Prosecco. Other bits are more homely even masculine in a military way but at least there’s no cable tray or Edison bulbs. There’s a main counter to the side and a second at the back. Three pulls on the main along with two T-bars, Tetley Bitter with a hand written clip and a Reedley Hallows Pale which was just ok, possibly a line not pulled through as it was early in the day. One unclipped pull on the back counter and more kegs, possibly draught wine as well. Mix of armchairs, industrial stools and upmarket kitchen tables and chairs. Early opening but I expect it comes alive at night.

The White Orchid opened a couple of days ago and classes itself as a boutique bar.There is a mish mash of furniture styles plus fabric settees and a piano.On the beer front there was a couple of casks, Bombardier and Wainwrights plus a few craft beers on tap.The barmaids were friendly and we even got free nibbles on our Saturday afternoon visit.
