Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Greenman

New gastro-pub and hotel in the courtyard of an historic coaching inn (with its famous gantry sign stretching across the road, but the frontage is now sadly converted to other uses). Still, it has reopened in part, and now offers a very contemporary appearance in the bar, restaurant and covered alleyway areas. Slightly surprisingly for such a modern place, I found Landlord, Castle Rock's Harvest Pale and BGSips from Blue Monkey (£4.50) available from the two banks of three handpumps.
