A bar and grill in a modern hotel and leisure complex on the edge of an industrial area, certainly not an attractive setting. It is light, spacious and airy, but equally soulless and lacking in atmosphere. The staff wear fake smiles as part of their uniform, but they’re not a bad bunch, just young and functional. Food is expensive and a bit trendy. There is no real ale, just banks of megakeg around the sides of the central square bar. Fine for refreshments if you’re using the leisure centre facilities or staying on the hotel.
