It looks like I managed to visit the Queen Inn just before it closed its doors for the last time, under Whitbread anyway. A long counter runs across the rear with drinks available to the left and a carvery available from the longer right-hand side. Open plan seating is found across the long width of the pub and oddly the left and right-hand sides had different music playing. There is a pool table in the front right, but this feels very much like a dry led pub. Standard keg and Madri were available and one of the three hand pumps was in operation drawing Doom Bar.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Queen Inn
Absolutely no sign of The Queen Inn name (apart from the website and till screens), so Cookhouse & Pub passes for that as well as both description and brand. As you would expect from a brand-new food-led outlet attached to a Premier Inn, this comprises various seating / dining areas all with anonymous modern furniture and decor. It does do real ale however, although the Wainwright annoyingly went off during the pour, leaving just Doom Bar (£1.79, half).
