Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Kilnbarn
In a village that had lost its pubs, it great to see the parish council supporting the opening of a bar in the community centre for all to access. Plain but tidy furniture and decor reminiscent of a social club, but being beside the playing fields there are also a couple of wooden benches outside. Unfortunately, the solitary handpump was not in use when I visited, but at least there was Theakston's Best Bitter (£3.00) on the keg taps as an alternative to the John Smiths.
