Modern cafe bar with faked grass outside area at the front, its clean inside and service was good. decked floor, lots of metal but diiferent and a nice vibe. Real ale too

Strongers . left this review about The Invicta Bar
Café seating sits on astroturf outside the front of the long and thin Invicta Bar where a handful of people were all sitting separately during a recent Wednesday late afternoon visit. The wooden flooring throughout feels a bit like decking underfoot, which I found a bit odd seeing as this bar is inside. There are tables and chairs at the front where bifold doors open out onto the café seating, and high tables runs up the right-hand wall to the rear where some standard seating is found up the left rear wall. An L-shaped serving counter made from old wooden planks sits mid-way up the left-hand wall, craft keg was available and two of the three hand-pumps were in operation drawing an offering from Canterbury Ales and Iron Pier’s Perry St Pale. Everyone was drinking keg so I went for something at 5% that looked like the first piss I had after a kidney operation many moons ago, I should have chanced the Perry St Pale from the local brewery. I liked the Reggae music in the background, and the barman was polite, but I’m not sure I’d visit here again.
