We only had time for a flying visit so we ordered 2 from the tap labelled "Pale". I have no idea what it was but it was very good! I'd like to visit again at a quieter time. Well worth popping in!

Was really looking forward to trying this place out. Didn’t see the possibility that I would be disappointed, it was perceived by me as a risk free enjoyment choice, and it lived up to that expectation. This is indeed a small venue, well described in terms of layout below, there were more than 12 punters present on my visit around 6.30pm on a sunny evening and so the space in the sun out the front meant I was able to sit on the upper level behind the bar very comfortably.
The venue has a nice vibe. It will have craft enthusiasts salivating particularly if they enjoy the small and intimate venue ambiance. As BF notes in the update below, they continue with the 6 taps by style. On my visit on offer were lager from Verdant, cider (Wild Juice) from Iford, pale ale (Fuzzy) from Cloudwater, IPA (Mr Fluff) from Two Flints, Porter (Hokum Stomp) from Deya and sour (Jeez) from Drop Project. Not huge range, but decent range of cans from a variety of usual suspects (spotted a few from Beak).
Definitely venue so far of this first venture into SE25 venues. They appear to have another venue in Bromley that looks a little larger so will have that in my mind when I think of next area after carpet bombing PG venues in SE Greater London postcodes.

ORIGINAL REVIEW Dec 2018
The name says it all, this is a micropub for hipsters.A small shop conversion with an open area infront of a small bar, while up a winding staircase is a small long section with just enough space for a high table and bench seating, plus the loo. It's run by a young enthusiastic team and tasters are given of the 6 keg options,4 beers and 2 sparkling ciders.Cans and bottles make up the range, but you may not find too many CAMRA types in here,no real ale , a hip soundtrack and £5 pp.
The beer choice will rotate and is eclectic with on my trip Northern Monk Spiced Mocha Porter (great),Brick Blackcurrant and Sumac Sour,Tiny Rebel Christmas Milkshake and Steady Rolling Man Pale (excellent, not too cold nor overly gassy).
It's card only, understandable due to a large cash theft and the need to process clients quickly via touchscreen on busy pre match days.Along with the Goathouse this gives the discerning beer drinker something to go at in South Norwood.and it will feature some of the best keg options.I will be back.
UPDATE
This micro has weathered in and the choice from 6 taps will almost always be a sparkling cider, a lager,a stout,a sour,a pale ale and an IPA. The brewers will always be small scale craft houses, none of the keg output of former craft keg brewers now assumed into multinationals (ie Meantime,Beavertown,Camden, etc ).So the rotating selection is always interesting, but it comes at a price.Little under £5 and strong ABV's approaching £7pp.I use it regularly.
