Visited 24/11/25. Visited previously 10/08/22.

No cask. Extensive offering of their own (Alpacalypse, Jute, Serge, Huckaback & Loom Pale) plus guests (Ossett Hell Rat, Pinacolada, Choc Hazelnut & Zombeer Like then the Berry Pear from Vault City, Krombacher Pils, the Razzamatazz sour from Bianca Road, the Lotte Hefeweizen from German Kraft, Lucky Saint, Blue Moon and Aspall.

Modern glass fronted unit near Deptford station in a trendy parade of bars and eateries. Polished concrete flooring with quite densely packed tables and chairs with the bar counter along the rear of the venue. Trestle table seating out the front and the open pizza counter on the left-hand side in the front of the venue. Most here were for the combo of beer and pizza. Very festive with the Xmas decorations.

Part of the very hip Market Yard area near Deptford station, this is the ground floor of a modern set of flats. It's on a street corner with the interior on view through huge plate glass windows, both the ceiling and the floor are in a smooth concrete finish, with exposed piping and cables, hanging flex lighting and the furniture in pine. Some drinking shelves along one wall and around a central column are complemented by dining stype tables elsewhere.Along one wall is an open kitchen serving pizze at around £15 and some smaller bit dishes up to £10 while on the longer side is a bar with wall mounted keg taps. The muzak wasnt too loud but quite funky.
No real ale,but 16 taps offering a sparkling cider,an alcohol free Lucky Saint, three continental lagers,2 indie beers from Vault City,3 from Ossett and 6 from Salt with my choice of their Serge citra IPA and Huckaback neipa neither too cold nor overcarbonated.
Popular with families and all women groups on my Saturday lunchtime visit, this is part of the regeneration of the area but a bar I would visit again given the decent opening hours it keeps unlike a lot of other nearby bars.
There is a connection between Salt and Ossett so expect therir beers to dominate.

Blue Scrumpy left this review about Salt Deptford

I was aware of a Salt bar in Woolwich, but hadn't realised this place existed until yesterday. Not opening until 4pm, they appeared to miss a trick yesterday with about 100 people turning up in the area shortly before 4pm bypassing the venue. It had even been mentioned on the itinerary of the May Day Parade. The staff inside appeared to know about the parade as they came to the windows to watch it. But seemingly they didn't want the custom.

We decided to backtrack and give the place a try. Situated at the base of what looked like flats, the space is roughly rectangular with a bar at the rear and an open kitchen serving pizzas off to the left-hand side. The pizzas did smell very tempting.

Whilst no cask ale is available, there is a good selection of keg beers from Salt, along with a few guests. The full choice was Salt Loom, Jute, Serge, Huckaback, Alpaca, Fusions, Topaz, Hypnotoid & Black Lace, Verdant People, Money, Space, Time, Villages Poncho & Rodeo & Brick Strawberry & Cucumber Sour.

Seating is canteen-style with long benches and tables. There's very little to admire about the modern decor, but with a large beer selection, it is still worth a look in if you like craft beers.
