Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Thread
Located directly across from the Market Hall, this is now an interesting Belgian-themed bar. Looks micro-pub sized initially, but it extends a good way back and there are some pavement tables out front. Very impressive selection of imported beers rarely seen in the UK, let alone in draught form. Of course, these come at some cost, such as my tasty unfiltered 8% Schieve X-mas winter ale from Brasserie de la Senne (£6.00, half). Also has a pair of handpumps, one of which was serving Bullet Tooth Tony from Tiny Rebel when I visited.

Very similar experience to my visit over two years ago. Very busy, a bit packed at the bar with a bit of a delay in being served. Even had three people behind the bar again, though only two seemed to be serving. Three cask ales on from Mobberley Brewhouse, unfortunately the one we chose went off and had to be changed, so that did add to the delay. However it was dealt with relatively quickly and the beer was fine.
We ended up sitting outside as there was no room inside, but of course that means you get surrounded by smokers which was a little unpleasant.
I think I stand by my previous statement that this would probably be best experienced at a quieter time.

As noted, its a brewery tap for Mobberley beers. Open plan with pavement seating out front. There were 10 or 11 taps on the wall behind the bar for keg beers but, sadly, only 3 handpulls for cask. That said it is a reasonably good place for a drink and I will visit again next time in Stockport.
