Quiet micropub in the village of Underwood. The owner was sat at one of the tables with his excitable dog when we arrived. Only other customer arrived whilst we were there. Although it was a Saturday lunchtime visit.
A large model giraffe greets you on the outside, whilst there are many interesting features to admire inside, including some pictures of Nottingham Forest players and a stuffed bird hanging from the ceiling in the centre of the room.
The house beer is Ginger Giraffe Golden Ale from the Navigation Brewery. The 2 guest beers were Castle Rock Elsie Mo & Titanic Plum Porter. The cider was Weston's Old Rosie.
I was hoping for a little more from this place, but the Ginger Giraffe beer was pleasant enough.
