A terraced bar and restaurant in period style. The restaurant is all at the back, with the bar area at the front. The bar is modern, with its high seating, brick fireplace, wood panel and flooring, as well as the wood ephemera and 'crates' used as decoration. There is also a small snug room to the left, which was apparently converted from a small stage where bands used to play. It is a plain wood room with a table and some Guinness pictures. TV (daytime stuff) and 80s music at an ok level offered entertainment. The service was friendly and those in were eating at the back. Beer was a few kegs, with Smithwick's - i think i had the Pale, which was OK. Happy enough to have visited.
