Craft beer bar on a main shopping street, which despite being only a couple of steps below street level, felt like a cellar bar. The bar is in the window on the right-hand side. Beyond, the space splits into what feels like two separate tunnel bores. With such low ceilings, this isn't one for the claustrophobic.

6 keg beers were on - Polly's Bubble Dream, Siren Mesmerist, Spookton Worth The Squeeze, Verdant Sundialer, Anspach & Hobday London Black & Vault City Dubai-Style Chocolate Pistachio Pastry Imperial Stout. A third of the latter was £8 but was a lovely beer, albeit 13%.

Whilst not a traditional pub, I quite liked this bar and really enjoyed the beer.

Small but well-formed tunnel style beer bar in the city centre, keg only I think. Some old school “oi oi” style punk was playing with some very choice language, it just helped me warm to the place though. It had lots of charm, card games on the tables, lots of beery reading matter. Glad i had a quick look.

Craft keg only with 12 to choose from. Varying styles and prices. We went for the Polly's Who Knew? - a 6.6% hazy IPA - which was superb.

Claims to have Wi-Fi but we couldn't connect to it, not that I was too bothered but mobile signal was pretty much non existent so could be inconvenient to some.

Old beer badges are for sale for 50p to charity. Dog friendly. Not much more to add, but if you like diving into the world of craft keg then this place is one to seek out in Chester.
