Small bar just inside the front door of the Big Belly Comedy Club. Inside there are three small round tables, two booth style tables, seating at the window ledge on tall stools and some tall stools at the bar. There is ample seating outside but it would be no laughing matter being out in the rather inclement weather this end afternoon. The bar was quiet presumably ahead of punters streaming in ahead of the early evening comedy show. There are some screens dotted around the space and the venue advertises they will be showing the upcoming Euro’s.
Beer wise it is just keg. Sonar and a mango beer from Laine Brewing Co, arctic Sky and a lager from Harbour, a lager and an IPA from Redchurch plus Guinness and a cider called Devon Red. As seeing in a few places more and more, they have their own branded beer, in this case the Big Belly lager. You have been warned
Pleasant enough place and would be more likely back here if going to the comedy club.

Definitely feels more bar than bottle shop. Quite a bare basic interior. 11 keg ales. NO CASH ACCEPTED.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Beer Hawk South Bank
More of a bar than the bottle-shop than I anticipated, but the single small room (which is about as tall as it is wide or long) has just the sort of modern furniture and decor that you would expect. Also has a small patio area out front. Pretty good selection of craft beers from the 12 taps on the bar-back, from which I went for the 4.9% Dark Revolution Sonic Small IPA (£5.40). NB - Cashless.
