I'm not really sure why this burger restaurant appears on this website, as it's essentially a large diner on the first floor of the Boxpark complex next to East Croydon station. The restaurant does have a bar, primarily used for customers to sit at whilst waiting for their table to come free, but it may well be possible to order a beer or cocktail and spend your time propped up on one of the bar stools without having to order any food - if so, I've no idea why you would want to do this. The restaurant has plenty of seating, mostly in the main room in which the bar is located, but also through to the right where a second, hidden room can be found, accommodating a lot more tables. The decor is very quirky, alternative design stuff, including stained glass art, graffiti-style murals and old, trendy gig posters.
The island servery looks quite nice for a modern restaurant and staff major on cocktails, which means you can be waiting a long time to get served - not really a problem if you're here for food, but a bit grim if you just came here for a drink. they have a few draught lagers and the most interesting thing I could find was a bottled craft beer (I forget what it was now), which was quite tasty but overpriced. We ate here and thought the food looked a lot better than it tasted.
There are a couple of dedicated bars in the Boxpark complex which should cater to the tastes of most people between them, so I'm unclear why anyone would bother coming here for a drink. Not a bad spot to grab a quick bite to eat, but if it' a few drinks you're after, try the Cronx Bar instead.
