The entrance of Glenny’s Bar is through a patio door on a lean to on the side of the rendered main building. Inside is a simple bar with a mix of standard and high furniture, and on the rear wall is a small raised seating area that could easily double up as a stage, although I didn’t see any live events advertised. The small bar counter is found in the left-hand wall where standard keg is available. The locals lined the bar, but two kindly moved out of my way as I approached, which I very much appreciated because is made me feel welcome in their local. The television was off due to my visit being well before any football kicked off, but there was some noise coming from a radio behind the bar. At the rear is a large function room where I spotted a pool table, but I didn’t enter to have a proper nose around. This is a very friendly bar, but it is very basic so I wouldn’t go out of my way to revisit.
