As described by previous reviewers, there are 15 beers listed on a board opposite the bar, with numbers 1 to 10 corresponding to numbers attached to the keg fonts, and numbers 11 to 15, erm. The five hand pumps on the bar are not numbered, so I asked one of the servers if there were any cask beers available, and it transpires that there are beers on the hand pumps, it's just that there are no numbers on them. This seems like a really awkward arrangement, with the customer looking at the board on one side of what is, after all, the corridor leading past the bar to the toilets, before turning round to place an order at the bar. Perhaps it's just me; I suppose that, after a while getting used to it, customers get in the habit of sorting out their order before approaching the bar. Certainly people were coming in and walking up to the bar without even glancing at the board.
Taking the beer board as a whole (see photo), there were plenty of local brews from the likes of Northern Monk, Ridgeside, Kirkstall, Vocation and Wilde Child. Prices ranged from £2.30 to £4.60 - that's per half - but with a couple of imperial stouts "coming soon", that upper figure was due to go up somewhat. This was my last pub of the day in Horsforth, at approaching 6pm, and this was quite a lively place, with well-to-do young people, and in some cases their dogs and/or children enjoying the early part of a Saturday evening. Maybe I'd have liked it better if I'd come here first, when it might have felt more relaxing. My half of Kirkstall Jaspar 4.5% was fine, though at £2.50 it was one of the more expensive cask beers I have drunk.

Long thin bar serving cask and craft keg, five of the former and ten of the latter. Cafe like atmosphere and layout, bent wood chairs and stools in the front area with a large table, bench seating and chairs to the back.

Real Ale Ray left this review about Granvilles Beer & Gin House
This converted delicatessen was named Granvilles after the owner's father. We popped in here on a Wednesday eve, which was a bonus, as all their cask ales are priced at £3 a pint. Otherwise you are paying 2/3 £3.40 1/2 £2.60 pint £5 and upwards. Five ales were displayed on the wall opposite the bar, along with a choice of ten keg. Their cask beers were Ilkley Mary Jane, Brookfield Brew Co Lion Heart, Tetleys No 3 pale ale, Kirkstall 2 Tribes West Coast IPA and Ridgeside Milky Joe Coffee Milk Stout. We went for the Kirkstall collaboration, which was spot on. The beer was poured from chrome handpulls along the middle of the bar and surprisingly didn't display any pump clips.
The interior had good seating space in the front, consisting of two booths along the left hand wall and further bench seating along the opposite wall, which had a reclaimed door cladded wall. There was also some bar stools along the bar counter and a rear table and chairs. The décor was mainly scorched pine timber work and a herringbone floor was the main feature in the front area. Snacks were available in the form of pork pies and sausage rolls at £2.50 each.
