BEWARE there is a minimum spend of £25 per person,which puts this bar at the extreme end of what is allowed on Pubsgalore.
The bar itself is beautiful with inlaid mother of pearl,walnut panelling,different sections,waiters in startched linen jackets,comfy sofas and armchairs and a small bar by the entrance.Walk in's are fine but folk will book tables so you may just find it full,there are bar stools around the bar which seem popular with attractve women.
Cocktails are a speciality but for £11 you can get a 330cl bottle of Meantime London Pale Ale,Heineken or Peroni together with almonds and stuffed olives.Single shots are generally around £25,cocktails much the same but of course you can really push the boat out if your wallet will allow.
Dress code smart casual with no shorts ,ripped jeans,trainers or sportswear,I left my Palace replica kit at home for this visit.

Went for afternoon tea with my wife at the Ritz, and decided to have a glass of champagne beforehand. What can you say? It’s the ritz. £30 each for a glass of champagne, but didn’t feel we overpaid. Staff made us feel special before our big afternoon. Lovely atmosphere. Would be nice for cocktails or a very special event rather than a regular thing.
