Tiny micro pub with a small quadrant bar in the corner having three hand pumps. My Allsopps Best was pretty good (NBSS 3.5). Seating is benches and low stools, with very small tables that I had to be very careful not to knock over. The WiFi code is written on the mirror.

The Eagle is a small micro cellar bar under an arch on a path opposite the much larger Globe pub. The barman at the Globe actually suggested that I visit here, I didn’t tell him I’d already been. North Cotswold Brewery’s Windrush Ale, TT Landlord Dark and Church End Brewery’s Spiders Have Feelings Too were available from the three hand pumps. Craft keg was also available, but I decided to try the SHFT which was on top form. There was a good atmosphere with some chat and low background music from the likes of the Rolling Stones during my recent Sunday evening visit. Well worth a look.

A wonderful cellar bar ,atmospheric, friendly and with a great selection of beer. It's owned by the gentleman who also owns the Old Post Office but he will never allow the same ales to appear in both pubs, and two of his ales here will invariably not be seen elsewhere in Warwick.
The alcoves of the cellar are well lit and have fitted furniture while the bar is small in one corner but gives an opportunity to chat to the friendly locals and get involved in some banter. It has a micropub feel and besides the interesting ale ,the keg selection is well thought out with tasters offered and suggestions made by the guv'nor. There are a few bench seats outside .
On my trip the ale selection was North Cotswold Best,Siren Mesmerist Soft Pale Ale (NBSS 4) and Thornbridge /Salopian Kashpur (Fantastic ,compled IPA,NBSS 4.5).A must visit when in Warwick and seeking ale excellence.
