Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Duke's Umbrella
Upmarket food-led pub, with a dark, smart, semi-traditional look to the main dining areas and the general seating space around the bar at the front. Also has a few small metal tables out on the pavement. It does usually do cask ale from one of the pair of handpumps, but I was out of luck as the Stewart's Edinburgh Gold hadn't settled yet apparently. Made do with the Weihenstephan wheat beer (£3.00, half) while I listed to some gentle Saturday afternoon music from a young jazz(ish) duo.

Strongers . left this review about The Duke's Umbrella
The Duke’s Umbrella is a large open plan space, however is does feel like it was once two different buildings because the ceiling over the bar area in the left half of the pub has an exposed brick ceiling, much like being under a railway bridge. There are a couple of barrels with stools by the entrance and a short serving counter sits on the rear wall to the left. Premium keg was available alongside Neck Oil and two hand pumps that were drawing Stewart Brewing’s Pentland IPA and Edinburgh Gold. Beer shelves with stools run the length of the large external windows and a row of red high backed banquettes run centrally across the bar area to green high backed banquettes that are found in the right side of the pub. There was a photoshoot in progress during my recent Tuesday lunchtime visit so I didn’t venture into this part of the pub. This place may be a little too food led for some, but I’d pop back in for another half if passing.

Colin Walker left this review about Traders
Traders is the former Traders Joe’s that was situated on 325 Hope Street, Glasgow G2 3PT. (This former Traders Joe’s is now called Ardnamurchan). The pub still has lots of seating has live acts on various nights. On tap there is lagers from Innus & Gunn, Hop House 13, Birra Morreti, Coors light, Staropramen & Carling. Maclachlan’s Best Ale (In my opinion this tastes better than Caledonia Best & Belhaven Best). Guinness extra cold. Strongbow extra cold & Strongbow dark fruits. There is food available although I didn't manage to read the menu when visiting.
