Bar 32 is basically a pool room with three tables that were all in use during a recent Monday early evening visit. There’s lots of standing room, and a DJ booth, so I expect that this is a young person’s venue at the weekend. There’s also a dartboard and a test-your-strength boxing machine along with three fruit machines. The serving counter up the right-hand wall supports standard and premium keg products, I had half a generic lager which was served by the very friendly barmaid. She informed me the Bar 32 and Bronz Bar, found upstairs, are separate venues, but it’s complicated so I imagine there is some shared investment. If I was a local, I’d maybe use this place on a Saturday afternoon for a few games of pool, but I think it’s probably somewhere to avoid later in the evening.
