What looks to have been a former hotel building (I could be wrong) had, after a walk through a small foyer, a bar up a step to the left with a large dining area dead ahead, and a separate 'breakout' dining area to the right, opposite the bar. A room upstairs, espied when climbing the weary steps to the Gents' had its own bar and likely operates as a function room. The (downstairs) bar offered Blackpit Best Bitter and Fuller's Wise Mean with a third pump having a London Pride clip reversed. The Blackpit was poor, but made up for by the Fuller's Prostate Cancer collab which was superb and surprisingly 60p less a pint. This is styled 'pub and restaurant' and it appears to be doing both on this showing, albeit it did feel like having a beer in a glorified hotel bar.
