Real Ale Ray left this review about Boyce's Barrel
Quite similar theme and décor to Boyce's in Colne, with lots of retro signs around the walls and high timber tables and chairs. This is a one room micro, with the bar situated along the left hand wall. Seven handpumps with five ales and two ciders, which was a decent line up, for a Thursday evening. The barman was chatty and welcoming, along with the locals. A couple at the bar were also very friendly and when the lass got her pint of beer she even offered me a taste of it. This is an excellent micro and keeps to the correct guidelines.
