A micro brewery with a licensed bar, rapidly becoming an important part of the village social scene. It's not on the beaten track – it took quite a bit of effort to get there in a Landrover this time due to flooded roads – but it's worth making the effort. The brewery is located in an old barn, part of a small farm complex which is diversifying. The bar is in the same barn as the brewery plant, all very Heath Robinson but effective. There isn't a garden but there are a few seats outside for al fresco drinking and smoking. They host live music most Fridays. They are only open Friday evenings and Sunday lunchtimes. There were three of their own ales and 4 ciders being served from behind the bar, all predictably excellent. A very interesting and enjoyable diversion for ale lovers.
