A new build place by the mega Tesco and on the waterfront, so fully exposed to the howling gales that engulf Lerwick for 25% of the year, I was almost blown over twice trying to walk to it. A pretty building, with a weatherboarded exterior. Whilst 95% an eatery, you can just drink here (with a slightly raised eyebrow from the young girls behind the counter) and with the full range of Lerwick brewery beers available in bottles at £3.80 a go, plus Azure on keg, why not? However you'll be lucky to get a table after 7 due to the foodies. It’s a simple, unfussy interior with a main room and a spur underneath a fake drystone arch. There are fantastic views to be had out of the windows across the bay. If you want a bit of grub, a local beer and a great view during the day then this is a good bet.
