Bison Beer was the busiest of the bars along this stretch during a recent Saturday afternoon crawl of the area. There’s seating under an awning out the front and inside normal tables and chairs run up the centre between a beer shelf up the right and beer fridges up the left. Steps at the rear climb to the serving counter across the rear wall where six craft keg products from Bison and local breweries were available. I went for their own APA which was a decent drop. The service was polite and the background music was upbeat, so all-in-all this was a good visit and I’d have no problem returning, even though there is no cask.

Another local Hove bar which doesn't open until 4pm on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. I returned to make it my final stop on a Hove crawl and found a small, but reasonably busy bar. Seating is at ground level, with the raised bar up a couple of steps to the rear (at least I think it was a couple, but I may have been missing some out after 15 pubs).
Beers are listed on an Untappd screen behind the bar. All beers are keg and as Paul says below, there is a fridge with further choice. For my visit, there was Verdant Putty, Lost Pier Fruit Machine NEIPA, Moot Brew Sometimes, Only With Love Cruiser & Bison Beer Sea Side APA, in addition to a pilsner.
My Sometimes was a nice (albeit cold) milk stout and a nice enough way to finish my day's drinking. This is not really a destination pub/bar in Hove, but is worth a stop if you happen to be passing by.

Surprisingly few taps (as in just 6) at this reasonably long-standing Bison outlet. The packed fridges, however, up the choices into the hundreds. With the doors opened out to the small terrace out the front, it's a good example of the modern craft beer bar, though a couple more draft options would be a welcome addition.
