Soup Dragon left this review about Roberto's Bar
Town centre micropub in a shop unit. The interior is a single room in wood and green, with sofas, leather chairs and general tables and chairs. It is dominated in a way by a piano, with a mix of art, mirrors, prints and photos (some war themed) on the walls. A well stocked fridge sells 10% stouts! The TV wasnt on and the music was soft. The service was very good and there was a busy, mixed clientele. Three Ales, along with the Belgian beers etc, with a decent Infinity Hyperion. Enjoyed the stop off and would return.

Micropub directly opposite the attractive red sandstone church. Very quiet on our Friday midday visit, friendly bar staff and one other customer so the conversation was soon flowing. There's a piano near the door, green coloured walls and a fridge with various bottles and cans near the bar area. 3 handpumps with 2 on serving Mallinsons Lupulin Trio English & Pictish Nectaron, priced at £4.20 a pint. We went for the Pictish, which was perfect on a nice day. We were surprised to see 14 ciders on, which is pretty impressive, and also 7 keg. The owner, Roberto, popped in whilst we were here, a larger than life character and very friendly. Visited Aug 2025.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Roberto's Bar
Micro-pub located directly opposite the landmark church, with furniture and decoration on the modern side for this type of establishment. Relatively quiet on a Wednesday evening, but not problematically so, and thus a relaxing place to stop on walk. Just Cascade from Downlands (£4.00) available from the three handpumps on the right-hand side of the small counter, but that was in fine shape. Plenty of interesting craft keg, bottled and canned beers too.
