Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Roberto's Bar

Micro-pub located directly opposite the landmark church, with furniture and decoration on the modern side for this type of establishment. Relatively quiet on a Wednesday evening, but not problematically so, and thus a relaxing place to stop on walk. Just Cascade from Downlands (£4.00) available from the three handpumps on the right-hand side of the small counter, but that was in fine shape. Plenty of interesting craft keg, bottled and canned beers too.

Smartly done micro. I arrived just after opening on a midweek afternoon so it was pretty quiet with just a couple of other customers. Plenty of craft ale choices alongside 2 handpulls serving Woodcote Herefordshire harvest and Pictish brewing Equinox. I liked it in here and will call again.

Blue Scrumpy left this review about Roberto's Bar

As with Ian, I never quite made Roberto's in Digbeth (Birmingham), but have now managed to visit the new bar in Halesowen town centre.

It has the look and feel of a micropub, but only one of the two handpulls at the end of the bar was clipped with Fixed Wheel Mild Concussion. Craft beers were Mousesweet Vickers Nut Brown, Burning Soul 0121 Brew One & Anspach & Hobday London Black. The Mild Concussion was pleasant, but I somehow expected a more extensive beer selection. There were however a number of other lagers and Belgium beers on offer.

Our visit was on a Wednesday evening and we were invited to join in with a quiz, but we still had a few more pubs and clubs in the area to visit. Nevertheless, the bar was starting to fill up. So, it is clearly a popular night out.

This place did not quite live up to the lofty expectations I'd placed it under, but for Halesowen town centre, it's a valuable addition.
