Odd one. A small cafe at ground level with a larger bar downstairs (well-lit in fairly striking colours and the stairs to it have Welsh dragons stamped through each step). Given that it was wasn’t far past 1pm on an early weekday I decided against sitting in the cellar bar on my tod and joined the greyhairs upstairs with their coffee and cakes. A couple of local beers and ciders available in the fridge, my bottle of Snowdon IPA was a fiver which seemed a fair price. Seems unfair to leave a score given the context. Handy to know about and if you fancy a local bottled ale then you should alight here as local beers are hard to come by in the town, Black Boy excepted.
