craft beer brewpub/bar in an industrial unit - Naturally it has the atmosphere of a morgue and the beer is expensive. it’s a friendly place and the 9% porter was interesting though. Not my kind of place but the beer hipsters will love it here. open at limited hours on Friday and Saturday only.

Just away from the Cains Brewery complex this is one of the few bars close to, and including, the bars inside the complex that serves real ale (none of the bars inside, as yet, serves real ale). Its a bit hard to find as its not signposted and is on a side street off Stanhope St. Set in a warehouse the decor and seating is basic with fold up benches and tables to the right. A colourful mural is on the wall to the right. The beer is apparently brewed on site. There are 3 handpumps plus 6 craft taps.
