Probably the worst of the new pubs we tried in Chorley on a hot July Saturday. This is a lounge bar split into two sections. The left-hand side contains the bar to the rear but has limited seating. The right-hand side was being set up for a function. There is a drinking shelf separating the two. Some of our party were told off for sitting on the function room side of the shelf by the sullen bar staff.

The room features exposed ducting and some foliage to make it feel less industrial. Outdoor pavement seating behind some market stalls were marginally more appealing. Amongst events being promoted were a quiz, live music and music bingo.

There were initially 3 cask ales on the bar - Black Edge Dark Mild, Kirkstall Pale Ale & Wigan Brewhouse Indeed I Do. I opted for the latter, which was in very poor condition. I had to return it and the beer was taken off sale. Bar staff begrudgingly offered me a replacement and I went for a Lilley's cider. Their selection was Apples & Pears, Rhubarb Cider, Peach Cider, Strawberry Cider, Elderflower Cider, Mango Cider, Winter Fruits, Raspberry & Lemon Cider, Cherries & Berries, Gladiator, Tropical Cider, Somerset Scrumpy, Darksider & Pineapple Cider. Vocation Heart & Soul was on keg.

Disappointing beer and service.

yet another little bar in Chorley town centre providing good real ale. This one is done in a comfortable rustic garden style with lots of wood, as you expect from the name. On a sunny afternoon everyone was sat outside observing the market stalls. A quite small range of keg plus three ales, I enjoyed the Vocation Pride (£3.80) served by the young friendly staff.

Now extended into the old Subway shop next door.

10/5/18:
A single roomed cafe-cum-micropub. There are 3 handpulls on the bar/counter with beers from Liverpool Republic, Ossett and Beartown on on my visit. Unlike a lot of cafe/bar places this didn't have the ever pervading smell of coffee. I liked it but after experiencing the useless White Hart around the corner, I'd have like anything.
