Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Caught & Bowled

Simple micro-pub in a converted shop set in the middle of a row of terraced houses. Plainly furnished, with narrow tables strung along bench seating towards the back, and a few high stools with a drinks ledge opposite the counter. In contrast, the light paintwork and cricket-themed pictures are in a more modern style. All five handpumps were in use when I visited, with Landlord, Oakham Citra, Titanic Plum Porter, Vocation's Heart & Soul (£3.40) and Snakecharmer IPA from One Mile End available.

Basic one room pub with toilets to the rear. Bar to the right. Five hand pumps and six keg pumps. Very good selection of ale that is changed quite frequently. Jaipur was next up so we couldn't have it! No seats outside where there is a bit of room. Pretty decent place which is worth a revisit.

This former newsagents has been a family business for over 30 years, with the owner's two sons now running the micropub. We met one of the brothers who was most welcoming and chatty and was proud to show us the wall mounted photos of his brother, playing cricket for England and Notts County. He also immediately recommended the Bluebird Blueberry Pale, from the Lenton Lane Brewery, which was excellent and two pints easily slipped down. This seems to be a regular beer as the pub's name Caught and Bowled has been added to the pump clip. Another enjoyable beer I tried was the Black Iris Bajan Breakfast, which was an oatmeal beer, whilst Mrs Ale went for the Oakham Citra Session Pale Ale. The locals were also friendly and chatty. I'd have no problem revisiting here.
