Opened on the 26th of June under the new name of AJ's Bar by the same owners of AJ's in Accrington but this one is twice the size of it's Accrington counterpart.On entry the bar is slightly to your left with a smart opened up room to the right.There was around 6 kegs plus 3 cider kegs to go at with an ample sixed beer garden at the rear which would sit around 30 people.Opening times are 8am every day ending at 12 30am during the week and on Friday and Saturday the hours are 8am till 3am.

Until a couple of years ago this was part of the Duke of Wellington pub next door but has now been converted and they are two separate places. The bar is quite spacious with chairs and tables in the centre, a room to the right and on the left booth type seats.There is also a graffiti wall on the right hand wall to add any comments.
The high bar is straight ahead and is very small and is more of a serving hatch than anything else.As you would expect with the bars name there is a decent amount of gins and cocktails but disappointingly no cask or keg beer.There is a moderate amount of imported bottles although a tad pricey (£4.00 for 330ml)so I opted for a 500ml bottle of cider for the same price.
