Modern building that has been Loungered with their usual stylings - at least no undressed grey concrete in here though. Like a fool I went for the most unusual keg and I got a fairly naff half via a hefty £££ for my troubles. Very occasionally I come across a more appealing branch of the chain but this isn’t one of them.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Centro Lounge

Standard-issue Lounges chain café bar, set in the pedestrianised yard. All the usual mismatched furniture and walls covered with random pictures, along with the standard menu and drinks selection. Just had a Menabrea (£6.15) to go with my dinner before moving on.

The rectangular single room open plan Centro Lounge is part of the Loungers chain so under the large red painted girders in the high ceiling are the usual signature things, wooden strip flooring, although not with old school gym markings, walls with floral wallpaper and framed portraits and pictures, big hanging industrial lights and lights with granny’s lampshades over the tables across the windows and rows of faux mass produced upcycled tables and chairs. The serving counter is found in the centre of the rear wall where premium keg is available alongside Brixton Lager. On the path out the front is some café style seating. As always, the service was polite and it was handy to sit and charge my phone with a quiet half of Cruzcampo, however I did feel a bit out of place in amongst the dining young families and couples.
