No cask. Keg offering of Guinness, Peroni and then four own branded beers, the Chop Chop session lager, the Bengal (session) IPA, The Tavern pale ale and the City porter milk stout.

The bar entrance is through the main external arch and past some outside covered seating. It is a bare boarded affair with the bar counter against the rear wall, with some tall stool seating at the bar counter. The room is bare brick walls with a variety of pictures adorning. Variety of seating and table styles, the banquettes, and benches with red or green leather padding. The lighting was very subdued and ambient and a very poppy soundtrack in a screen free zone. Top marks if you spot the gents toilet entrance in the mirror wall. Suspect I was the only one here having a beer to tick venue off, others were using the bar area as a staging post prior to eating in the restaurant, which was to the left-hand side of the bar area.
