Situated on Buxton's market square Gilbert's is a one roomed medium sized bar with a small beer garden to the rear.There were a few heavy wooded tables,a Chesterfield plus a few curios and oddments.On the bar I think there was 4 cask beers pumps plus a couple of craft beers on tap.
