More deli than bar, it’s got more seating than your average deli, I was advised not to trust any publicised opening hours - wise advice throughout Hartlepool as it happens. It’s got pulls with nicely kept beers but only worth a visit if you want to drink in a cafe. In spite of the very cold winds a lady dressed for the weather and a chap in sports shorts took a seat near me. Weird place Hartlepool.

Visited on 19 July and had a Crafty Monkey cask beer and an Alphabet brewery can of beer here and no problem. Quiet but we were here early. Would look in again. Had Ilkley Pale and Crafty Monkey New ERA later in the week. They do meet the brewer and meet the cheesemaker events here and serve tapas style food.

One room with bar to rear right and a fridge with cheese, pork pies and Scotch eggs just before it. Bookcases on left wall. Four real ales and six craft type ales. Worth a revisit.
