Will Larter left this review about The Red Lion
Multiroomed village local, which feels quite small on entering but actually goes back quite a long way. It's been well preserved, rather like a number of the locals who were propping up the bar when I entered. I just had a half of Batemans XB to get me through the final 10 miles of a rather long cycle ride. The other beer was Black Sheep Bitter, with two other hand pumps unused. The landlord and customers were all very friendly, but this is a very quiet village, so I wonder where the trade comes from?
