The Vault is a fairly quirky cellar bar in Ellesmere's town centre. Steps lead down from a door which is not immediately obvious from the street. It is bigger than you would think, with a corridor leading to what seemed to be a popular outdoor drinking area at the rear.

Nobody seemed to be around when we arrived, but the young barman soon appeared along the corridor, whilst the landlady and the pub dog weren't too far away either. Welsh Pride was the solitary real ale.

An interesting place. But I was hoping for more on the beer front.
