As there are a load of hotel-like 'pubs' on here I may as well include this one. This is situated in the grounds of Ruthin Castle and is basically a hotel. Its a very grand place and you are allowed to walk around the grounds and you are welcome in the bar. The bar is via the main entrance, turning left, right, then possibly left or right again. Real ale available only via bottles from behind the bar otherwise its not a very good selection of fizzypops. Peacocks abound in the beer gardens.
