Two room place with bar to left in front half. 4.7% IPA ABV on offer but it had a strange taste, especially as it was the first drink I had had. Back room full of army memorabilia and a TV that, happily, wasn't on.

An excellent little place. As its name may suggest this is a cafe bar and well worth a visit just for the beer. A single room that's basically in two parts - a small bit as you enter then up a few steps to a small rear bit. The bar is to the front and has 4 handpulls. Beers were from Otter, Westgate, Front Row and Butcombe on my visit. There is no basement.

The café part of this bar on the ground floor opens quite early with the bar in the basement opening at noon
