This is the third Seven Bro7hers outlet I have visited in Manchester. It was busy with a jubilant crowd during a recent sunny Saturday afternoon visit an hour or so before the City v United FA Cup Final kick off. This was being shown via BBC on a television in the bar and in the seating area downstairs. This area had been hired out by some forward thinking individuals. The full range of Seven Bro7hers fizz was available, I went for the decent Watermelon lager which was served by a very friendly barperson. There are three hand pumps on the bar, but these are just for decoration. The mix of banquettes, armchairs, high and normal sized tables were mostly taken, but I did manage to find a small table at the rear where I enjoyed a bit of people watching before moving on. I wouldn’t go out of my way to revisit, but I would pop back in if passing.

Called in on 11.8.22 and found a friendly barman with a good choice of craft beers but no cask available. We enjoyed Honeycombe Pale Ale and Hoppy Pale. Quiet but we were early in there. Easy to do with the Northern Quarter bars.

Backsteet brewery bar in the Ancoats area that has a modern, industrial feel.
Seating is over 2 levels. It was fairly busy on our late Sunday afternoon visit.
The bar offers a single cask ale, which was Seven Bro7hers Bread & Butter. There is a much wider keg range, mostly from Seven Bro7hers themselves. This was Pilsner, Chocolate Honeycomb Stout, Easy IPA, Juicy IPA, Hoppy Pale, Honeycomb Pale Ale, Watermelon Wheat, Throwaway IPA, Cast Off Pale, Marmalade West Coast IPA, B'Nananut & Sling It Out Stout. Guest craft beers were Squawk Toco Pale, Big Hug Do Not Disturb & Vocation Gwei Lo.
The cider was Orchard Pig Reveller, whilst they also have a wide selection of cans and bottles in the fridges.
There was certainly a lively atmosphere in here and the 3 beers I tried were all pretty decent. Certainly a bar I would consider returning to.
