We started in here on a mini crawl of the Jewellery Quarter. I was surprised how big this craft beer bar was once you enter into the second room. The main room and bar had a large collection of pump clips all around the bar walls and ceiling.
We found a good spot down the back where we could watch some footie and ponder over what beers to try. The walls also had some good artwork all to do with wolves.
Some beers in here are on the pricey side, but we stuck to thirds to keep the price down. One cask ale on, Deya x Adnams Horizon Level. I went for the Yonder Shrimps & Bananas sweet shop sour, whilst our pals went for Burning Soul Coffee Cherry Porter, Abbeydale pumpkin spiced latte stout and a few Deya's here and there.
They have a Treat Tuesday all food 50% off pies, toasties etc. Quite liked it here so will call again.

The Wolf has been on my to do list for some time now. I finally got there on Saturday and not really knowing what to expect, found a fairly traditional pub. Whilst craft beer is the mainstay here, I was also surprised to see a cask option on.
There is a front room where the bar can be found, with further seating in a rear room. There are plenty of windows providing natural light along the two rooms. Toilets are upstairs.
In the bar, a blackboard lists the various options. The cask beer was Good Chemistry Groove Along. Craft beers were Yonder Raspberry Jelly and Vanilla Ice Cream Pastry Sour, Funky Fluid Winter Cake, Left-Handed Giant Enter The Loop, Nothing Bound Connecticut, Anspach & Hobday London Black, Burning Soul Like Clockwork, Attic Intuition, Deya Steady Rolling Man & Glasshouse Bringing Seshy Back. Ciders were Snail's Bank Raspberry Ripple & Weston's Vintage.
Quite a decent place with some unusual beers on. It's almost certainly a place I'll head back to at some point in time.

A reasonable place to stop if you are walking the hinterland between Hockley and the City.
Craft ales with a very good selection and knowledgeable staff. Will be remembered as the first place that I have tried Schofferhofer. Might replace bloody mary's as my breakfast drink of choice :-)
They do some food - toasties and the like.
Update: 6% Deya for £8.40. Does this sound reasonable :-)
