peter ashworth left this review about The Church
This grade 1 listed building is the oldest secular building in Northampton with parts of it dating back to the 12th century.Inside it is quite modern but has allowed the original architecture to preside, and certainly I felt it had a Church feel to it unlike other countless Church conversions.
On entry the bar is straight ahead and is well lit which is helped by the attractive stained glass window behind the bar.The restaurant part is to the right but I did not venture into these quarters. There was very little choice on the draught beer stakes in fact there was only 2 pumps on the bar and they were 2 lagers.
