A trendy bar attracting Newcastle's young and hip crowd, popping in for a light bite to eat, or for the odd cocktail and a few glasses of wine. We called on a Saturday afternoon and a lot of the tables were booked. The staff were friendly and gave us a small table near the window, as long as we handed it back within half an hour. Four handpumps on the bar three from Cullercoats and one from Wylam. We went for the Cullercoats Pilot and Lola's Gold by Cullercoats. The beer was in good nick, but am not really a big Cullercoats fan. If you like shabby chic, floral murals and old lampshades, then you'll get on great, not really a blokes venue in my opinion.
