You go via the reception desk to the one room with the bar to the right side. Only three keg pumps with the kitchen to the left. Only redeeming feature was the Tomatin whisky, which is one of my favourites,

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Fairways Bar
Small bar attached to a motel and golf course but open to the public (when I arrived at the adjacent Black Bull too early). Half a dozen tables and plain, semi-modern decor. Rather larger patio terrace out front with a fine view. No real ale, and not even any bottled bitter, so had to resort to the John Smith's Extra Cold (which it was, despite being a touch warmer than the snowy weather outside - £1.45, half).
