No cask. Draught was via four taps dispensing Sapporo, Tiger, Bigmouth IPA and Heineken Silver. Choice augmented by a few bottled lagers and ciders.
Plush basement venue that used to be the Jerusalem bar. Care needed with the metal staircase and door - can catch you out in the dark. Indeed, the light inside is subdued with low level art deco lighting. The bar counter is on the left-hand wall with no seating at the bar counter, but this isn’t somewhere you will go and order at the bar! There is a front part with plenty of tables for drinkers and not surprisingly it was busy on my mid-week visit with a week to Xmas. Tables are generally of the tall variety with tall stools in this part. The rear part is slightly raised and separated from the front part via a balustrade and seating is via fabric banquettes around the walls of the area with regular tables and served via comfy armchairs or regular chairs. A few people tucking into food in this area, but generally most in here this evening were just drinking.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Jerusalem
Cellar bar and kitchen that I assumed was new as I had never noticed before but which has apparently been open for nearly 20 years. The dark, rectangular bar has the counter and kitchen along one side, facing which is a slightly raised 'L'-shaped dining area which also extends across the back. The main seating area between these is full of basic wooden tables in a mixture of sizes (some quite long). Also has a rear patio back up at ground level via some rear steps. No real ale, unfortunately, so I opted for a keg Caledonian Coast to Coast pale ale (£4.70).
