Will Larter left this review about Snug & Chatter
I saw a number of young mothers with babies entering as I was passing earlier, but I was told elsewhere that there is cask beer here, so I called back later. Unfortunately the Ossett Blonde was on the turn - a previous customer had complained but it was still on; I was forewarned then, and after a taste and a sniff the beer was taken off. The Timothy Taylor Landlord was possibly heading in the same direction, but I think it had just been lying around in the pipe for too long, as it was clear with just a hint of an infection. Those babies were obviously not getting through very much of it. This is quite a pleasant place, with original bare boards and stone walls, the latter painted white, while tasteful wallpaper covered other parts of the walls. I would have more confidence in their ability to look after cask beer if they would just apply a bit of metal polish to the hand pumps.

Mainly for diners but a few seats as you enter for drinkers. No real ale with only one keg font that I could see dispensing Whiter Shade of Pale.

Alan Winfield left this review about Sir Dukes Bar & Grill
Sir Dukes is a stone built bar that looks like it was converted from two houses.
Once inside there is a single irregular shaped room which runs to the rear, the small bar is to the front right, there are a few bar stools to the front and close to the bar for drinkers like me,the other areas have normal tables and chairs which i presume are for diners only.
There was one keg font on the bar which has Bad Beer Co Dazed & Confused on,this was served in a two thirds of a pint glass and cost me £4.50,i was well dazed and confused after paying that amount for a keg beer, but it was a fairly decent drink.
The young barmaid was friendly and i had a quick chat with her.
There were a few family diners to the rear of the room which is out of sight from the front area.
This seemed a very pleasant place to have meal in,but not too sure about the pricing of the beers.
